Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Matt Crossette, founder of Riverton Restorations.

My desire is to provide an unparalleled level of expertise and world-class concierge service to those who seek rebuilt and restored fine pianos — instruments of pedigree, returned to the voice their makers intended.

Restoration, as I practice it, is not a race to the finish. It is stewardship: of soundboards and scales, of provenance and of the rooms these instruments will inhabit. Buyers are able to navigate the market through the eyes of someone who will treat you as family, and as a partner in the search for the right piano.

Nothing gives me greater professional fulfillment than hearing from a client how an instrument has changed the atmosphere of a home, a studio, or a hall. The work is technical; the purpose is deeply personal.

If you are considering a Steinway, a Bösendorfer, a Bechstein, or another house of consequence, it would be my pleasure to serve your piano needs — privately, and by appointment.
